The Great Wave off Kanagawa

Framed by a natural, wooden hanging scroll, this three-piece series will let you take home a part of Japanese history and beauty. Perfectly transportable, these scrolls can be rolled up and transported in a matter of seconds.

Also known as Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura, or "Under the Wave off Kanagawa". This stunning woodblock print was first published sometime between 1829 to 1833 by famed Japanese Ukiyo-e artist Hokusai.

Often thought to be a tsunami wave, Hokusai was more likely depicting a large rogue wavethreatening three vessels off the coast of Sagami Bay. Mount Fuji rests in the background, framed by the waves, a symbol of peace and solidity in contrast to the thrashing of the waves.

  • Natural, wooden hanger

  • High-resolution print

  • Premium-texture canvas

  • Super portable - roll it up in seconds
  • No nails necessary, package includes mounting pins

Made for a nice addition to our hallway and you can space it out however you like, it is tempting to get more 🤔

Pleasantly surprised with how sharp this looks, I keep them on my wall but it is nice just to know they can roll up at any time. Thanks :)

It came quickly, in 2 weeks! It came rolled up nicely and I just pulled it out and hung it straight up. Probably could have gone the size up but I love it anyway.
